PURPOSE: To effectively perform continuous filtration, by rotating the filter plate having screwed blade shape in the filter chamber, giving more pressure to the raw liquid supplied to the filter chamber with the thrust generated by the rotation of filter plate, and by recovering the residue obtained by the filtration by sending it in the direction of shaft.
CONSTITUTION: Screwed-blade-shaped filter plate 4 is rotated in such way that valve 7 at residue discharging passage 6 is closed, the raw liquid is supplied with a pressure from raw liquid supplying passage 5 to filter chamber 4 by means of pump P, and, at the same time, driving shaft 3 is driven by means of motor 20. When the filter chamber 2 is filled with the raw liquid, the raw liquid receives more pressure by means of the thrust generated by the rotation of filter plate 4, and the filtration is started. The residue is gradually pushed toward residue discharging passage 6 by the rotation of filter plate 4, and the filtrated liquid is collected in filtrated liquid recovering passage 26 installed in driving shaft 3 through the filter plate, filtrated liquid drain hole 22, and commonly connected hole 27, and then recovered.
