Abstract
PURPOSE:To arrange so that a sonic pressure may easily by measured by filling an ultrasonic tank with a single bath developing/fixing solution, applying uniform preexposure to a photosensitive material in the said solution and reading a pattern generated on the said material. CONSTITUTION:Uniform preexposure is applied to a printing paper and then a single bath developing/fixing solution is filled in a bath where the sonic pressure distribution of an ultrasonic tank is measured, so that simultaneous process of development and fixing is carried out through a single pass. A main development solution is a combination of metol and hydroguinone, etc. As an antioxidant, sodium sulfite is used and prior to fixing, sodium hydroxide, sodium carbonate, etc. are used to make a correction for development promotion. In addition, for fixing, sodium thiosulfate is used. An ultrasonic wave is irradiated into this solution, and a preexposed printing paper is immersed in the tank. When an image appears, the paper is taken out to be water-washed and dried. As a result, a blackening occurs proportional to the intensity of an ultrasonic wave so that the distribution of sonic pressure is recorded.
