Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate an error in needle reading by arranging so that a wide range of flows may be evaluated accurately only through the reading of an indicated value on a master meter side at time of checking on a master and slave-type flow meter. CONSTITUTION:A master meter measurement part (M1) 1, a slave meter measurement part (M2) 2, electronic circuit parts for master and slave meters (E1, E2) 3, 4, a piping 5 equipped with an auxiliary pipe, a signal line 6 connecting electronic circuits 3, 4 and a joint 7 for tubing are provided. For instance, if water flows from the direction of the joint 7a to the direction of the joint 7b through the intermediary of meters 1, 2 equipped with an auxiliary pipe according to consumption, flows of water passing through respective pipes are measured by meters 1, 2 designed to meet a large flow and a small flow and are integrated by electronic circuit parts 3, 4 respectively. Then the flows are added through a signal line 6 to obtain a total value.
