Abstract

PURPOSE:To apply the decoration on the surface of the substrate by a method wherein the substrate, coated with an adhesive, is inserted into a heat-shrinkable tube provided with a decoration pattern printing layer and is heated. CONSTITUTION:The tubular decoration film 6 is formed by providing the decoration pattern printing layer 4 on the outer surface of the heat-shrinkable tube 3 by means of a normal printing method, thereafter, the substrate 8 coated with the adhesive 9 beforehand is inserted into the hollow part 7 of said tubular decoration film 6, then, said tubular decoration film 6 is bonded to the base 8 as they are being heated. According to this method, the decoration may be applied easily even on the surface of the substrate having complicated recesses and protrusions.
