Abstract

PURPOSE:To make the unit small-sized and light by providing a swing arm which has been formed in one body by use of a base metal of a swing arm, and a material which has a larger damping coefficient than that of the base metal. CONSTITUTION:A base metal 11 of a swing arm, a damping compensation material 12, a shaft hole 13 for fitting a rotary shaft of the rotary pivot, and a coil mounting surface 14 for attaching a coil of the voice coil motor are provided on this unit. As for the damping compensation material 12, phenol resin, other kind of resin or synthetic rubber, etc. are suitably selected in accordance with the conditions such as frequency of vibration which needs damping compensation, amplitude, vibration characteristic, temperature, humidity, etc. And, a desired damping characteristic is realized in the swing arm by changing the dimensions and shape such as width, length, thickness, etc. of the damping compensation material 12.
