Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent goggle lenses from fogging by providing a filter which prevents the entry of moisture into the internal space and permits only the flow of air to the vent holes provided in opposition to the one inclined wall part of inside and outside lens plates. CONSTITUTION:A goggle lens 3 has an internal space 14 formed of an outside lens plate 13 having an inclined wall part 15 for holding the spacing and an inside lens plate 12, and is provided with vent holes 16 provided with a water-repellent ventilation filter 4 in opposition to said wall part 15. Since the pressures of the internal space 4 and the outside are balanced by the vent holes 16, the deformation of the lens plates 12, 13 does not occur. The suction of the outside air through the vent holes 16 is accomplished with the ventilation filter 4; therefore, even if a large amount of moisture is contained in the external air, and in such a case when snow and the like stick, the entry of moisture in the internal space 14 is prevented by the water-repellent effect of the filter 4, hence the occurrence of fogging is prevented.
