Abstract
PURPOSE: To increase a heat-transfer coefficient by inserting a tubular body, at the nose thereof cut-out sections are formed and cut-out pieces thereof are bent along diagonals, into a pipe of a thimble type heat exchanger.
CONSTITUTION: A plurality of cut-outs 2 are made up to a nose of a metallic plate 1, the plate is wound so that the longitudinal direction forms the circumference and a tubular body is built up. Cut-out pieces 3 are bent toward the inside of the tubular body along diagonals 5, and the cut-out pieces 6 of one cut-outs are bent toward the outside of the tubular body along the root. The tubular body is inserted into a pipe from a pipe plate section of a thimble type heat exchanger, placing the cut-out pieces 3 forward, and the bent cut-out pieces 6 are connected to the pipe plate. Thus, the metal fittings can simply be mounted, a swirling current can be generated at a gas pasing through the pipe, and a heat-transfer coefficient can be increased.
