Abstract
PURPOSE: A defrosting agent having improved durability and transparency, being impregnated into tissue paper, etc. and applied to window glass, obtained by blending specific components, e.g., methanol, glycerol, triethanolamine, nonionic surface active agent, etc. with water.
CONSTITUTION: Preferably 250W300cc of 99.9wt% methanol, 250W300cc of 99.9 wt% ethanol, 13W15g glycerol, 25W30g ethylene glycol, 25W30g diethylene glycol, 5W7g propylene glycol, 8W10g ethanolamine, and 10W15g nonionic surface active agent, e.g., polyoxyethylene nonylphenol ether, etc. are dissolved in water to prepare a 100cc solution. This solution as a defrosting agent is impregnated into a soft base, e.g., tissue paper, (non)woven fabric, etc. and applied to front glass of cars, mirrors, etc.
