Abstract
PURPOSE:To implement the simulator for rails, on which the vehicles run, having four vibration applying functions of up and down, rolling, yawing, and right an left, by providing an up and down vibrating testing stand, a rolling testing stand, a yawing testing stand, and a right and left vibrating testing stand. CONSTITUTION:The up and down vibrating testing stand 1 is vibrated by one or several up and down cylinders 2 arranged under the testing stand 1. Said up and down cylinders 2 and a bearing mechanism 10 are fixed on the top of the rolling testing stand 3. A bearing mechanism 5 is attached to a yawing frame 8 which is fixed to the inner surface of the yawing testing stand 9. A rolling frame 4 is suspended from said bearing mechanism 5, so that the frame 4 can be freely swayed. The rolling movement is transmitted to the up and down vibrating testing stand 1 via the up and down cylinders 2 and said bearing mechanism 10. The right and left vibrating testing stand 13 is vibrated by a right and left cylinder 14 fixed to a base 16. In this constitution, running conditions are simulated and the running performance is analyzed.
