Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the occurrence of resonance by avoiding the vibration of an oil-pressure vibrator caused at the natural frequency of boom by a method in which the main switch valve at the time of start-up is situated at its operating position after the operation of a vibrating valve but at its neutral position at the time of stoppage, and then the vibrating valve is stopped.
CONSTITUTION: When a vibrating valve 18 is operated at the time of starting, pressuired oil is alternately supplied to cylinder chambers 14a and 14b and an oil-pressure vibrator 13 vibrates at the switching frequency of the vibrating valve 18. When the switching frequency of the vibrating valve 18 exceeds the natural frequency fa of a crane boom 2, the main switch valve 7 is switched to its operating position. At the time of stoppage, the main switch valve 17 is first restored to its neutral position and then the vibrating valve 18 is stopped. Since the oil-pressure vibrator 13 vibrates at a frequency exceeding the natural frequency fa and also stops at the frequency at the time of the steady state, no resonance at the natural frequency fa of the crane boom 2 takes place in the oil-pressure vibrator 13, and no resonance, therefore, occurs in the crane boom 2.
