Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent cracks from occurring in a hard film of a hard-film covered resin plate while the resin plate is subjected to a bend-molding step, by removing or finely roughening the portion of the hard film which is on the outer side of a portion to be bent on the resin plate, and then subjecting the resulting resin plate to a bend-molding step. CONSTITUTION:A finely roughened surface 2 like a surface of frosted glass is formed by sand blasting on an outer side of a portion to be bent at a hard-film covered resin plate 1. When this resin plate 1 is bent, a high tensile force is applied to the outer side of the bent portion thereof. However, no unsightly cracks occur in the hard film on the outer side of the bent portion of the resin plate since the mentioned portion of the hard film has been finely roughened and minutely broken.
