CONSTITUTION:A plurality of the heating resistors corresponding to one line are divided into a plurality of blocks A, B, which are abutted against each other at the end parts of the base plates 2 in such a manner that the heating resistors 1 are aligned in continuity. When the accuracy in a direction X is provided at the time of forming a pattern, the accuracy can be maintained by only fixing the head parts at predetermined positions respectively with stoppers 5, and the accuracy in a direction Y can also be secured by only mating the head parts with each other. A gap D in the direction Y can be compensated for by staggering the printing commands fed to the black A by an amount corresponding to (n) lines (n=D/d, where d is the width of the head).
