Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the Kanji (chinese character) input speed, by storing the Kanji once input as the Kanji with the highest priority, and using the Kanji conversion key as the Kanji selection key with the highest priority on and after the 2nd times. CONSTITUTION:For example, when the Kanji ''Ai'' in figure 3 is input, the operator depresses the Kanji conversion key after depressing Kana-key as AI from the keyboard 8, then the control section 1 searches the dictionary memory 3 and seeks the address where the Kanjis with such pronouciation is sought. The homophones found out (figure 0-4) are displayed on CRT with a series of consecutive number started from 1 every Kanji via the interface 5 from the character pattern memory 4. The ''AI'' in figure 3 is sought from displayed Kanji group, and the number 3 added with this Kanji is inputted at the key, allowing to input the desired Kanji ''Ai'' in figure 3. Thus, since the usage of the Kanji with the highest priority is increased, the entire Kanji input speed can be increased.
