Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the thermal efficiency of the solar energy collector, by moving a water pipe in response to the change of an angle of incident rays onto a concave mirror.
CONSTITUTION: A water pipe 2 having a minimum radius r is constituted to be movable which will receive all of reflected rays of incident rays (3, 4) (5, 6) onto a concave mirror 1. A locus of an optimum light receiving position for incident rays 3, 4 onto the fixed concave mirror 1 is formed into a curve 7, a locus of that for the incident rays 5, 6 is formed into a curve 8, and loci for other rays are also modified, so that a curve 9 as shown is obtained. The water pipe 2 will be moved along the curve 9. Thus the thermal efficiency will be increased since the water pipe 2 is moved along the curved path 9.
