Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned tube prominent in the dimensional accuracy of a fitting part by a method wherein the tube is manufactured by grasping a crosslinked polyorefin sheet at the both ends thereof, heating and stretching the sheet and a crosslinked sheet is bonded at the end part of the oriented sheet by thermal fusion. CONSTITUTION:The original sheet 11 is tightened and held by grasping tools 12 at the both end whereof and is heated to the stretching temperature thereof, thereafter, is stretched into a necessary draw ratio by a separating the grasping tools into arrow mark directions. The parts which are being grasped by the grasping tools are remained in keeping thicknesses same as that of the sheet not yet stretched, whereby those parts become a fitting part 14 as they are. The crosslinked polyethylene sheet 15 is attached to a position near the one end of the stretched sheet 13 by fusion bonding at the position 16. A heat fusible type adhesive 17 is coated uniformly on the whole surface of the inner sides of the sheet 13 and the sheet 15 while the sheets are bent into a cylindrical shape to make the divided type heatshrinkable tube 18 and utilized to protect the connecting part of a cable A or the like or the repaired part of a sheath.
