Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a disk-type recording medium that can transfer the information signal of a stamper in a high workability and high fidelity, by forming a layer (to be formed on a transparent supporter) having an information pit via the ultraviolet- ray hardened resin layer. CONSTITUTION:The ultraviolet-ray hardned resin such as 2,2-vis(4-acryloyloxy- polyethyleneoxyphenyl) propane or the like that is shown in the equation (total of m and n is 3 and 4) is used. In other words, the above-mentioned ultraviolet-ray hardened resin is coated on the stamper containing an information pit formed on the surface, and a transparent supporter (such as a plate of vinyl chloride-vinyl acetate copolymer) is piled on the resin. The ultraviolet rays are irradiated to the transparent supporter, and then the supporter is detached along with the hardened resin. Thus a disk having the ultraviolet-ray hardened resin layer 4 containing the information pit 1 formed on the supporter 3 is obtained. After this, the metal layer 5, the dielectric layer 6, and the oil layer 7 are laminated successively to obtain a disk-type recording medium.
