Abstract
PURPOSE: To prepare the titled highly concentrated solution having high purity and excellent storage stability, by extracting an anionic dye having sulfonic acid group, etc. in an acidic aqueous solution with a specific amine-organic solvent solution, followed by the back-extraction of the organic phase with an alkaline aqueous solution.
CONSTITUTION: An acidic aqueous solution of an anionic dye having sulfonic acid group and/or carboxylic acid group (e.g. the compound of formula I) is brought into contact with a water-insoluble organic solvent (e.g. benzene) containing a water-immiscible secondary or tertiary amine [e.g. the amines of formula II [R1 is 6W24C (aro)aliphatic group; R2 and R3 are H or 1W24C hydrocarbon provided that at least one of them is not H], e.g. laurylmethylamine]. The dye extracted to the organic phase is transferred to the aqueous phase by the back-extraction by contacting the organic phase with an alkaline aqueous solution to obtain the objective highly concentrated dye solution having high coloring power.
EFFECT: The pollution of the working environment with dust, and the problem of dissolution operation are improved.
