Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the treatment nonuniformity due to the overlap of loop-shaped wire by a simple method wherein the loop diameter is periodically changed.
CONSTITUTION: An intermediate curl regulating roller 4 of a three-point support roller type loop diameter regulator 3 annexed to a coiler equipment is periodically reciprocated in the direction crossing the wire progress direction by means of cam shaft 6 driven by a motor 5. Thereby, the wire 2 is conveyed on a conveyor 1, with the loop diameter periodically changed, so that the overlap density on the loop side edge S is halved when the wire 2 is being treated. Accordingly, the treatment nonuniformity can be reduced.
