Abstract

PURPOSE:To eliminate the return passage projected from a fine laser tube and to remove a danger of damaging and discharging the tube by forming a groove for connecting the anode side to the cathode side on the enclosure of the tube and disposing the enclosure in contact with the outside thereof. CONSTITUTION:A groove 8 for connecting the anode 5 side to the cathode 1 side is formed on the enclosure of a fine laser tube 4 for connecting a cathode valve 2 to the anode 5 to hold the cathode 1, and the enclosure 7 is disposed in contact with the outside of the tube 4. A spiral space is formed with the groove 8 by the tube 4 and the enclosure 7, the return passage is formed of the space and the return passage projected from the laser tube can be eliminated. Then, the length of the return passage is increased to eliminate the danger of occuring a discharge and to prevent the damage of the laser tube.
