Abstract

PURPOSE: To wholly compact a three-dimentional transfer feeder, conveying works to processes in order, into a middle-sized device and to reduce a manufacturing cost, by a method wherein a lift operating mechanism, a clamp actuating mechanism, and a dimention feed changing mechanism are mounted.

CONSTITUTION: The device provides with the following mechansims. A lift operating mechanism A which cuauses the motion in the lift direction of a transfer bar 7 under a power developed through the rotation of a cam shaft 7a which is connected to a driving source through a transmission mechanism E and has a gear 6, a lift cam 9, a two-dimentional clamp cam 17 and a three- dimentional clamp cam 18, a gear feeder 8 performing the movement in the feed direction of the transfer bar under a power developed from the gear 6 side, and the lift cam 9 of the cam shaft 7a; a clamp operating mechanism B which performs a clamping, unclamping action of the transfer bar 7 under a power developed through the rotation of the two-dimentional clamp cam 17 and the three-dimentional clamp cam 18 of the cam shaft 7a; an adjusting mechanism 21 for a bar closing distance which is positioned in the mechanism B and adjusts a bar closing distance between the transfer bars 7; and a dimention feed changing mechanism C which changes the feed from a two dimentional feed to a three-dimentional feed and changes it in the reverse way to the above.
