Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it easy to get in a vehicle and sit on a seat behind an assistant's seat when no passenger is sitting on the assistant's seat by moving automatically the seat position and the like to enlarge the space for the passengers to sit on a rear seat. CONSTITUTION:While a slide motor 4 is in a stop position, if a passenger is to get on the rear seat behind the assistant's seat where no passenger is sitting, this is detected by a detector which provides a signal to a switching transistor 10 to turn-on a contact 11a of a relay 11 and to turn-off a contact 11b. By this, a driving circuit is formed through the contact 11a to drive the slide motor 4 to move the seat in an advancing direction. At the same time, a reclining motor is driven to tilt a reclining part forwardly. The seat and reclining part are stopped at the respective foremost and most forwardly reclining positions by the turning-off of a limit switch 5 and the reclining switch.
