Abstract

PURPOSE:To enhance the use rate of the information processor and execute the information processing efficiently with a narrow occupation space, by setting the tape, which is stored on a prescribed storage rack, to the information processor by two carrying robots. CONSTITUTION:Storage rack 1 is provided which has both rack small room groups 2a and 2b where magnetic tapes 7 are stored, and turntables 9 which can be turned at 180 deg. are fitted to deck racks 4 in both sides, and tape recorder decks 8 are put on them. Ascending and descending tables 23 movable vertically and horizontally are fitted in both faces of rack 1, and tape grasping devices 21 are fitted to them, thereby constituting carrying robots 42. In this constitution, when the tape taking- out command is given to the control device, the tape is set to unused deck 8a facing the taking-out side of tape 7 if this deck exists. If it does not exist, deck 8b facing the opposite side is inverted at 180 deg., and the tape is set to it. If all decks are being used, the system is held. As a result, the use rate of the recorder is enhanced, and the information processing is performed efficiently with a narrow space.
