Abstract
PURPOSE:To make unnecessary the time correction in case of returning from a timing operation to a clock operation by changing over an addition function such as a chronograph or the like by synchronizing a pulse motor driven clock with a clock signal. CONSTITUTION:When an electronic timepiece wherein an hour and a minute hands are driven through a pulse motor 6 and the like is changed to a chronograph functions by closing a switch 8 of an action change-over part 7, a reset pulse of the clocking operation starting time is generated from a differentiation circuit 10 by synchronizing with a clock signal applied to a timing terminal of D type FF9 and the functional action is changed. When the switch 8 is opened, the output Q of FF9 is synchronized with the clock signal to inverse to a high level, whereby an OR gate 32 is opened by the output of a RS type FF11. Thus, the signal of a time correction is generated from said gate 32 to step the motor 6 and a reversible counter 25 through an OR gate 34 and an OR gate 27 respectively. When the counter value reaches to the max. value 720, the FF11 is reset by a carrier signal to amend the time automatically and the clock function is restrained with an easy operation.
