Abstract
PURPOSE: To lower cost for required materials and improve productivity, by peeling off the damaged part of the belt along the angle direction thereof and attaching new belt material to the part.
CONSTITUTION: After buffing the crown of the tire, only the parts 2a, 2b on the belt including the damaged parts a, b are peeled off along the angle direction of the belt, and new belt materials 4a, 4b are attached thereon. Further thereon tread rubber is applied with vulcanized bonding to complete the re-conditioning. Because the repair works are limited only to the damaged part without peeling the whole belt off, the cost is lowered and repair works of peeling-off and attaching new materials are performed more easily.
