CONSTITUTION:The used negative film 3 attached to the negative holder 4 is photographed by the color TV camera 2 through the light of the light source 6 and via the CC filters 5A and 5B of the colors having an appropriate concentration. Then an inversion is given to the light intensity on the color cathode-ray tube 1 for the contrast of a negative image, and then the negative image is reproduced into a positive picture. At the same time, the yellow color in the negative picture is inverted to be reproduced into the blue color. Then the magenta color in the negative picture is inverted into the green color; and then cyan color is reproduced into the red color. Thus a positive color picture is obtained. Then the unbalanced color in the negative picture 3 which is reproduced on the tube 1 in an unbalanced way can be corrected to a correct balance by the selection of the filters 5A and 5B and while looking at the positive picture on the tube 1.
