PURPOSE:To make diagnoses of functions of various unit constituting the system and of circuits between units by providing interfaces with the function of diagnosing CONSTITUTION:This system is provided with data transmitters 11 and 121-124 longitudinally connected to loop-shaped transmission lines L and L' and interfaces 131 and 132 provided between data transmitters and terminal equipments 141 and 142 for their electric connections. Further, interfaces are provided with control parts 151 and 152 that return data between an interface and a random data transmitter and between random interfaces and further request error information stored in each data transmitter, and memory parts 161 and 162 that remember test data of system functions. On the basis of the test data, a diagnosis of the system function is made and the error information is transmitted to terminal equipments at need.
