Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically wind a coil directly on an iron core by synchronizing the reciprocating movements of a wire guide nozzle with the rocking movements of an iron core clamping means and providing an automatic coil guide jig attaching and detaching unit and an iron core indexing means thereat. CONSTITUTION:A hollow shaft 10 having a wire guide nozzle 22 at the end is so supported as to reciprocate in a direction as designated by an arrow 29, an iron core clamping unit 9 is rockably provided in a direction as designated by an arrow 49, and the hollow shaft 10 and the clamping unit 9 are driven by one motor 24 via a cylindrical cam 26 so that they can move synchronously with one another. Further, an iron core indexing unit 8 having another motor 19 and a unit 14 for automatically attaching and detaching a coil guide jit 13 are provided. When one coil is completely wound, the unit 14 is operated to remove the guide jig 13. After the next position is determined by the indexing unit 8, the guide jig 13 is again mounted to mount the next coil.
