Abstract
PURPOSE:To form a small-sized measuring device for density of ion which is highly precise and capable of performing stable measurement for a long period by using a semiconductor ion sensor. CONSTITUTION:The semiconductor ion sensor 54 insulated from a supporting body 52 by a member 57 is fitted in the tip part of an insulation pipe 51 with the sensitive film 55 thereof being exposed inside the tip opening 51A of the insulation pipe 51, while inside the tip part of the insulation pipe 51 a reference electrode 58 is provided and internal liquid 59 is filled up therein. On the other hand, a plurality of grooves 53A are engraved in the periphery of the supporting body and thereby liquid-communicating parts 53 connecting the internal liquid 59 with the tip opening 51A are formed. Next, lead wires 56A and 58A from the semiconductor ion sensor 54 and the reference electrode 58, which are coated with insulation coating respectively, are led out at the other ends thereof through the insulation pipe 51 and thus the measuring device for density of ion is formed.
