Abstract

PURPOSE: To prepare the titled composition which is noncorrosive to the molding machine, and nevertheless keeps the original metallizability and printability of the polyolefin film, by adding a specific metal compound powder as an anticorrosive agent.
CONSTITUTION: A polyolefin is compounded with 0.005W5wt%, pref. 0.05W2wt% of a basic inorganic metal compound powder, wherein the content of the component having a diameter of ≥20μ is ≤1.0wt%, pref. ≤0.5wt%, and the one having a diameter of ≥16μ is ≤3.0wt%, pref. ≤2.0wt%. The basic inorganic metal compound is pref. a hydrotalcite having the structure of Mg4Al2(OH)12CO13.3H2O. The polyolefin is the one prepared by the Ziegler-type polymerization. The process is espetially effective to the polyolefin prepared by using a highly active catalyst without removing the residual catalyst.
