Abstract

PURPOSE: To cheaply manufacture the crystalline metallic thin sheet without passing the intermediate pass like as the rolling work, etc., by discharging and cooling the molten metal through the nozzle so as to form the thin metallic sheet, and by applying the skin pass and the heat treatment to this metallic sheet.
CONSTITUTION: The metallic material compounded into the specified chemical composition is molten in the furnace 1; this molten metal is discharged through the nozzle 2 connected to the furnace 1, and is cooled to form the metallic thin sheet 3. This metallic thin sheet 3 is introduced into the nonoxidizing gas atmosphere or into the vacuum, and is further cooled. Next to this, the skin pass is applied to this metallic thin sheet 3 for flattening it and for causing the proper stress and strain. Following to this, the heat treatment is applied for releasing the stress and strain and for promoting the grain growth due to the recrystallization.
