Abstract
PURPOSE: To raise the stability of a buoy by fixing a horizontal axle type of an assembly consisting of a generator and a tidal wave turbine, housed in a valve box, directly to a buoy in a floating type tidal wave turbine generator to be mounted on a marine buoy, etc.
CONSTITUTION: Such heavy weight as the generator 3 and the turbine 4 are directly supported by the buoy 1 of a stount structure without burdening on the valve box 2 which functions as a wind tunnel to merely divide the air path 22 along its axial flow direction. Also, the valve box 2 of an oblong form is housed with an oblong turbine and a generator. Thus, the weight of the valve box can be lightened and also its hieght can be reduced. Therefore, the position of the gravity center of the buoy 1 can be lowered and stability against surge can be raised.
