Abstract

PURPOSE: To reduce fuel consumption, by utilizing vertical vibration between an undercarriage and the ground to produce compressed air by an air cylinder and conducting the compressed air to the impeller of a turbine to rapidly rotate it to provide an auxiliary output.
CONSTITUTION: Air cylinders 4, 4', 5, 5' are secured on axles inside of front and rear wheels 7, 7', 8, 8'. A plate 18 integrated with a piston rod 17 is secured on an undercarriage. Compressed air is produced in the air cylinders 4, 4', 5, 5' by the vertical vibration of the undercarriage while it is moving. The compressed air is introduced into an air tank 1 through pipes 3, 3', 6, 6' and then conducted to a rotary power generating section 2 integrally provided on a motive power transmission shaft 10. The compressed air is blown onto a turbine impeller built in the section 2, to rotate the impeller. The turning force of the impeller is added as an auxiliary output to the shaft 10 to reduce fuel consumption.
