In addition, both beams are intensity-modulated based on the output of a control circuit 30 for intensity changing. With such constitution, the beam generated from one optical source is separated to the two beams which are applied to a medium with one optical system, whereby the occurrence of deviation in construction is prevented and inter-track spacing is maintained constant.
