CONSTITUTION:A magnetic paint prepd. by adding glyceride (the generic name for esters of mono-, di-, tri-, alpha-, beta-, gamma-type or saturated, unsaturated fatty acids and glycerol), particularly the ester of an alpha fatty acid, at <=20pts.wt. to a lubricant to 100pts.wt. a resin cmbining component for binding is coated on a substrate such as polyester film, whereby a magnetic tape is produced. In this way, the magnetic tape which is less in the increase in coefft. of friction with time, superior in lubricity and causes no tape squeaking during contacting with a magnetic head, guide pole, etc. is obtained.
