Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate a switching operation without requiring a manual operation in a remote side, by switching a line automatically for a fault of a leased line by the operation from the center side. CONSTITUTION:By two-line dialing from center-side CPU1 to remote-side data terminal equipment 21, remote-side automatic line switching device 10 is switched from leased line 5 to exchange line 6 automatically. Switching of the remote side is confirmed in CPU1 by the ANS signal generated from device 10 to perform data communication through line 6. When the leased line is released, the ER signal of CPU1 is turned off, and CPU1 transmits the switching signal to the remote side. The remote side detects this signal to perform the switching operation easily without the manual operation.
