Abstract

PURPOSE: To satisfactorily purity and polish the inlet of the pipe-line by spirally feeding in and stirring a polished member with compressed gas.
CONSTITUTION: A gas pipe fitting flange 4 is fixed on the gas pipe not shown in the drawing and a pipe fitting flange 3 is communicated to a reducer 10. The thus set pipe washing device body 1 is fixedly attached to the inlet of the desired pipe-line. Then, by injecting an abrasive through a feed-in opening 8 and by feeding-in the compressed gas through a feed-in opening 9, the compressed gas from the feed-in opening 9 is spirally discharged centering at a feed-out opening 6 of the abrasive through each tilting pipe, so that the abrasive fed out of the feed-out opening 6 is supplied to the inlet of the pipe-line in the spiral-shape as shown by arrow. Thus, the inlet of the pipe-line 11 can effectively be polished and purified.
