Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain an adhesive tape which is excellent in transparency, tearability by hand, and water resistance, by providing an adhesive layer on the surface a film obtained by laminating PP sheet on both sides a polymethyl methacrylate sheet through a specific adhesive layer.
CONSTITUTION: PP sheets (C) are laminated on both sides of a polymethyl methacrylate sheet (A) through an adhesive layer composed of a polyolefin-maleic anhydride copolymer (B) containing 15wt% or more alkyl acrylate and 0.03wt% or more ethylene-alkyl acrylate copolymer of MI of 4g/10min or maleic acid. Then, the surface of the film thus obtained is provided with an adhesive layer, e.g., of an acrylate-based hot melt type adhesive, etc., through an adhesive layer composed of the component (B) and then the film is subjected to a biaxial stretching treatment at a temperature (120W165°C) at which the component (C) is stretchable in such a way as to obtain the draw ratios of 4<λMD×λTD ≤56 (where λMD is machine direction draw ratio and λTD is transverse direction draw ratio).
