Abstract

PURPOSE: To produce a laminated drawn film of different polymers, in high productivity, by laminating two kinds of film interposing a thermosetting adhesive therebetween, and drawing the laminate while the adhesive is still uncured state.
CONSTITUTION: A thermosetting adhesive, such as an aqueous solution or emulsion of a urethane resin, is applied to the surface of an undrawn film of a drawable thermoplastic polymer (e.g. polyethylene terephthalate); and another undrawn film (e.g. ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin saponificate) is laminated thereto. The laminated sheet is drawn at 60-160°C and a draw ratio of 20-50 times while the adhesive is not yet cured.
