At the same time, a low voltage is fed to a motor 66 driving a pinch roller pressing/detaching means, a cam 68 is turned through the revolution of the motor 66, a main rod 34 goes left by it, and the pinch roller 32 is detached from the capstan 38 through the tip of a screw 42 in contact with the latch 40 of the pinch roller lever 28 and reversing of magnetic tape can be stopped.
