Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to inhibit oxidation of an hydraulic device, even if a water-glycol system hydraulic oil is used for the hydraulic device, by closing an oil tank, filling the air-phase portion in the tank with an inactive gas and by adjusting the filling volume of the inactive gas responding to liquid level fluctuations in the oil tank.
CONSTITUTION: A cover 1b is installed on the brim of a vessel body 1a through a packing 2. A tank 1 is tightly closed. An inactive gas is supplied into the atomosphere B in the oil tank 1 from a gas cylinder 5. The air melted in the hydraulic oil A is gradually replaced by the inactive gas until constant equilibrium is established between the air and inactive gas. The volume of air in the hydraulic device is reduced to almost null resulting in the atomosphere B containing nearly 100% inactive gas. Therefore, oxidation of the hydraulic device can by suppressed, even if a water-glyco system hydraulic oil is used.
