Abstract

PURPOSE: To pull out a pintle bushing through simple work, by connecting the ends of stud bolts through shackles to two holes at the lower end of the pintle bushing, attaching a support member to the other ends of the bold bolts and operating an expansible and retractable pressurizing unit between a pindle and the support member.
CONSTITUTION: Two shackles 13 engaged with the ends of stud bolts 12 are connected by pins 15 to two holes 14 opened near the lower end of a pintle bushing 3. A support member 16 is attached to the other ends of the stud bolts 12 by nuts 18. An expansible and retractable pressurizing unit 19 is installed between the support member 16 and the end face of a pintle 2 to pull out the pintle bushing 3. The period of work can be shortened in comparison with conventional methods.
