Abstract

PURPOSE:To improve the release characteristic from a heat roller by mixing compounds contg. metals of specific valency to the polyester of respectively specific glass transition temp., softening point, acid value and specific gravity. CONSTITUTION:The binder consists essentially of the polyester of 40-80 deg.C glass transition temperatures, 60-130 deg.C softening points, 15-120 deg.C, more preferably 20-60 deg.C acid values and <=1.29, more preferably <=1.24 specific gravity and metal compounds of >=2 valencies such as zinc oxide and magnesium oxide that can bond with the caroxylic groups in said polyester, and the compounding ratios thereof are made 96-76wt% polyester and 4-25wt% metal compounds. Thereby, the images having high release characteristic from a heat roller at the fixing and are sharp free from any photographic fogs is obtained. Further, the fine grinding characteristic at the toner production and the blocking resistance at the storage is improved.
