Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out burring operation for a molded part in an unattended manner by a method wherein a thermosetting resin molded part is loaded into an inclined turning drum having a network form and blasting substance is blown up by a rotor and is striken against the molded part which falls down in the drum.
CONSTITUTION: A molded part 11 which has fallen from a molding machine is supplied to an inclined burr-removing drum having a network circumference through a hopper 12, a duct 18. The lowest end of this burr removing drum 13 is supported by a duct 18 through a thrust bearing 20 and rotated by a motor 14 through gears 14aWc. While the molded part 11 falls in the drum 13, it collides with the blasting substances 16 energized and blown upward by a rotor 17 and thin projections, that is, burrs in the molded part 11 are removed. Thus, this burr- remover can be connected with the molding machine, burr-removal can be exerted immediately after molding has been completed and operators thereof can be saved.
