Abstract

PURPOSE: To let the luminescence of a timing light coincide with signals given when a needle valve is opened by a method wherein there are provided a detector for high frequency oscillations generated by the shut and open by an injection nozzle needle valve, a detector for the rotation of an injection pump and a delayed- pulse-generator.
CONSTITUTION: In a device for a Diesel engine, the output of a detector 1 of high frequencies generated by the operation of the injection nozzle needle valve (not illustrated) is amplified 3 and added to a band pass filter 4 to select valve opening signals, a detector 5, a comparator 6, a monostable multivibrator 7, a phase inverter 8 and a delayed pulse generator 9 which generates a delayed signal a given time after the valve opening signal is generated.
