Abstract

PURPOSE:To high efficiently, continuously manufacture a tapered wire rod with excellent strength and buckling-resistivity, by passing a round steel wire rod, heated to hardening temperatures by the electric induction heating, through the gap of cross rolls possible to repeatedly changed its rolling force, and then, by applying a heat treatment to this rod.
