Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to exactly listen to an emergency broadcast without causing an operation error, by constituting the equipment so that it tunes with an optional broadcast in a normal state that the low frequency amplifier is operated, and it receives a specified broadcasting station automatically by switching to a holding state. CONSTITUTION:An incoming wave signal from the antenna 1 is amplified by the high frequency amplifier 2, it is converted to the intermediate frequency by the frequency transducer 3, is amplified by the intermediate frequency amplifier 6, and is detected by the detector 7. This detection signal is further amplified by the low frequency amplifier 10, and it is converted to a sound by the speaker 11. On the other hand, an emergency information signal contained in the detection signal is discriminated by the decoder 8, and the switch 9 for controlling the operation of the low frequency amplifier 10 is driven by the output of the decoder 8. In this case, the switch 12 is a holding state change-over switch for controlling the operation of the low frequency amplifier 10 from the outside. Also, this equipment is provided with a variable frequency oscillator 4 which is equipped with a 2 system oscillator as a frequency converting local oscillator, and can vary the frequency optionally, and also a fixed frequency oscillator 5 which can be fixed so that only the specified broadcasting frequency can be received.
