Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the breakdown of beam and the fixing bolt by rotating and screwing the fixing bolt fitted in the screw hole of a transition piece arm then pressing both ends of the beam and pressure contacting the elbow.
CONSTITUTION: A fixing bolt 28 fitted in a screw hole of a transition piece arm 27 is rotated and screwed, thereby the lower end of the fixing bolt 28 will press both ends of a beam 29 and the projection 29A on the beam 29 will press the top of a elbow 13. With such structure the fatigue breakdown and the gap corrosion caused by the fact that the screw section is formed at the portion where the stress in the beam 29 is highest can be eliminated resulting in a highly reliable beam 29. Furthermore since the fixing bolt 28 is screwed into the transition piece arm 27, the additional stress on the fixing bolt 28 is reduced thereby it is strong for the fatigue breakdown and the gap corrosion.
