Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable always uniform annealing free from variance to be carried out by disposing an infrared ray sensor and a spot light lighting and instructing an infrared ray detection position in one piece with said sensor between heating electrodes for annealing. CONSTITUTION:This annealing apparatus is provided with right and left a pair of electroheating electrodes 3, 4 gripping both ends of the connecting part 2a of wire materials 2, and welding electrodes 9, 10. An infrared ray sensor 5 detecting the infrared rays emitted by the connecting part 2a by electroheating and a spot light 6 lighting and instructing the proper detection position of the infrared rays are disposed between said electrodes 3, 4. The sensor 5 and the light 6 are fixed to a mounting member 7 to form them into one body, and the both optical axes are crossed and coincides at the said part 2a. Then, the infrared ray detection position of the weld zone 2a is instructed precisely at the center of the weld zone of the wire materials 2 by the spot light irradiation and the variance with the change in the diameter of the wire materials 2 is eliminated. Based on the detection thereof, the annealing holding temp. is maintained constant.
