Light emitted from fiber 1 is made into a parallel light beam by lens 5 and while part of it is reflected by reflective surface 11a of wedge-shaped prism 11, the other is coupled with fiber 2 via lens 6 without being reflected. Similarly, light from fiber 2 is reflected partially by reflective surface 11a and the other is coupled with fiber 1.
