Abstract
PURPOSE:To take out power generating output being free from pollution and economical from between two sets of power generating elements formed by coating the surface of respective shaft with semiconductor material by a method wherein the two sets of elements are connected mutually and one set housed in a cooling part is cooled by infralow-temperature material, while the other housed in a heating part is heated by terrestrial heat or the like. CONSTITUTION:The shaft whose surface is coated with a semiconductor or a semiconductor wherein metal powder or the like is mixed is molded into the power generating element 1 of bar-type, cylindrical type, resin type or the like, and out of two sets of these elements, one is arranged in the cooling part surrounded by an heat-insulating material 6, while the other is housed in the heating part 4, and they are connected with each other at a boundary part 5 having wires 2 for leading to the outside. The inside of the cooling part 3 thus constituted is cooled by liquid air, liquid helium or the like, while inside the heating part 4 heating is made by the introduced terrestrial heat, from hot-spring water, heated gas, etc., and electric power thus generated is taken out from the wires 2. So as to stop the power generation, cooling and heating are discontinued or the connection is cut at the boundary part 5.
